Liposomal encapsulation bypasses the absorption barriers that hinder absorption of many therapeutic nutrients and compounds. EDTA is an abbreviation for ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid. EDTA is most often used in cases of heavy metal poisoning (lead, mercury, cadmium). That's because it can latch onto or bind these metals, creating a compound that can be excreted in the urine. Besides binding heavy metals, EDTA also "chelates" (naturally seeks out and binds) calcium, one of the components of atherosclerotic plaque.
1 teaspoon contains:
Calcium 2 mg
Magnesium (aspartate) 38 mg
Potassium (aspartate) 26 mg
EDTA (disodium EDTA, calcium-disodium EDTA, Magnesium di-potassium EDTA) 210 mg
R-Lipoic Acid 33 mg
Essential Phospholipids (lecithin – 65% linoleic acid) 1.8 gm
Other ingredients: phospholipids (from highly purified soy), medium-chain triglycerides, 1-2 propanediol.
Suggested Use: Stir/shake well before each use. Stir 1-2 teaspoons into 4-8 oz. water or juice, 1-2 times per day, or as directed by your health care provider. Best taken on an empty stomach, at least 20 minutes away from food.
Refrigerate after opening. Caution: not for use by children, pregnant or nursing women.
EDTA/R-Lipoic Acid: This top-grade product is made with a large dose of injectable-grade essential phospholipids (1.8g per dose), a mixture of MgK2EDTA, CaEDTA, Na2EDTA and pure R-lipoic acid. This adds additional strength to the detox program for lead, cadmium, nickel, arsenic and aluminum.
