Details
Neem bark is traditionally used to treat gum disease and gastritis. This extract contains no glycerine. Indians have used twigs from the neem tree to brush their teeth. Today, even in rural areas where modern oral care products are practically unknown, residents have very low levels of cavities and gum disease. Neem bark, the active ingredient in NTF mouthwash, is rich in antioxidants – including glutathione – that may play an important role in gum disease. Neem, still called "the village pharmacy" in its native India, is one of the most ancient and widely used herbs in the world. In fact, herbalists in ancient India had documented the healing qualities of this remarkable tree long before Western civilization discovered the analgesic qualities of the willow tree from which aspirin is derived.
Ingredients: neem bark, grain alcohol and distilled water.
